NORTHCLIFFE

Northcliffe is a nature lover’s paradise just waiting to be discovered. The gateway to the breathtaking d’Entrecasteaux National Park, Northcliffe offers some of the most beautiful landscapes in the South West. With so much to see, this hidden gem is one worth visiting.

A small village with a lifestyle many can only dream about, Northcliffe and its residents will welcome you with open arms to share this corner of the world. Discover how the early settlers lived and worked at the Pioneer Museum.

Nature is truly celebrated in Northcliffe. Understory features unique art in nature as you walk through the pristine forest. The Blooming Wild festival in spring celebrates the dazzling array of wildflowers, orchids and fungi in the spring that have flourished after recent bushfires throughout the area.

Northcliffe hosts the annual Karri cup in April, a mountain bike race for those who wish to race and those who wish to ride for fun as it winds its way through forests, pastures and back to town. The Munda Biddi trail and Bibbulmun track also pass close by.

The towering forests dominate the landscape near the town with the scent of clean forest and freshwater streams. Driving toward the coast the forests give way to coastal heath and the salty ocean air greets you as you arrive at Windy Harbour and Pt d’Entrecasteaux. Endless views can be seen from the lighthouse and surrounding trails. The area has beaches where you may have the fishing all to yourself!
