The natural wonderland which surrounds us in the Southern Forests & Valleys region has naturally attracted tour companies who specialize in eco tours which visit the best of the best. As well as Donnelly River Cruises, (Manjimup); Pemberton Discovery Tours organizes forest, beach and wine tours, while in Walpole, Gary Muir entertains as well as informs on the Wild Over Walpole (WOW) boat cruise. www.donnellyrivercruises.com.au www.pembertondiscoverytours.com.au www.wowwilderness.com.au

For a large part of the year, the Southern Forests is cool and wet. It is then that self-drive tours prove their worth. The Karri Forest explorer reveals the beauty of Pemberton; while the Great Forest Trees Drive takes you deep into the Shannon Basin. North of Walpole, turn onto Beardmore Road to enter the Walpole Wilderness Discovery route, taking in Mount Frankland, and the scenic North Walpole Road to Walpole.

While local tour companies have designed tours which take in the main highlights of the region, we can also design tours which ignite your individual passion. The Shire of Manjimup has thriving wine, truffle and horticultural industries. Talk to a local tour operator about a custom-designed tour for your group of 8 or more, taking advantage of our Genuinely Southern Forests produce!

Whether walking or riding, each town in the Shire of Manjimup can be the start or end of a trail.
