So truffle farmers would plant vines surrounding the truffière to protect their truffle treasure. A tale that Truffle Hill have re-created, not for poachers but more for their love of wine. In the pristine heart of Manjimup’s famed Seven Day Road is the home of Western Australia’s first truffière.
Truffle Hill’s truffière (Truffle Farm) is located within the beautiful South West corner of Western Australia, home to over 50 different types of fruits and vegetables, truffles, nuts, wine, gourmet products, beef, sheep and dairy farms as well as extraordinary culinary experiences.
The Southern Forests region is one of incredible variety and abundance whose status as one of the Australia’s premier food producing regions is growing every day. Surrounded by rich, fertile virgin forest and river systems, this area has some of the purest, cleanest and pristine rainfall areas in the world. It’s the perfect place to grow truffles.

Truffle Hunting
Truffle Hill was the first truffière to be established in Manjimup, Western Australia back in 1997. Dedication, devotion, and sheer hard work has seen Truffle Hill become one of the largest producers of black Périgord truffles in the world.
Truffle Hill is one of the few truffières in the world that allows a select number of people to participate in a truffle hunt in the winter months and see for themselves the fascination of how truffles grow, are hunted, and checked for maturity, and then harvested.
