Situated south east of Manjimup on the Warren River in the heart of the Southern Forests, Kinkin Retreat is an ideal base to explore the South West region of WA or to just enjoy the seclusion and serenity to the bush and all it has to offer. Offering a unique venue for individuals, families and group gatherings.

Kin Kin homestead was founded by the Cutting family in 1868, and the original farmhouse still stands on our land, though not currently habitable.  The Cuttings decided to build Kin Kin retreat and lodge in the early 1970’s, using Jarrah sourced from their own lands. Creating a unique and irreplaceable now property that has been used by couple, families, local community groups and groups from further away for over 50 years.

We have an abundance of native wildlife around.  From 3 different species of Kangaroos/Wallabies, Emus, Red Tail Black Cockatoos, Kookaburras and many more.  Most of the time, we have visiting Brumby’s as well, who help graze the areas around the chalets and lodge with the Roo’s.  We barely need to mow thanks to our organic helpers!

The Munda Biddi trail is only 10 minutes’ drive down the road, along with other popular hiking and cycling routes in Quinninup. We also have direct access from Cutting road to 100’s of km of unpaved forest tracks and trails for those that like walking, cycling or even 4×4 driving, as the well known Gully Run passes right past our gate every year.
